Nigerian international superstars Burna Boy and Wizkid have finally released their highly anticipated record dubbed 'Balon d'Or'. Our detty December anthem is finally here, guys!
After several months of aggressive anticipation, Afrobeats poster boys, Burna Boy and Wizkid have finally decided to share the mellifluous tune 'Balon d'Or'. The last time we had a Big Wiz-African Giant collaboration was on 'Made In Lagos' LP and it was a hit, talking about the fan-favorite 'Ginger'. The bromance between both singer-songwriters will be engraved in the history of Afrobeats.
Recall that on the third day of Wizkid's three-day "Made In Lagos" concert at the 02 Arena in London, the singer made it known that he has a song recorded with Grammy-winning colleague Burna Boy" which is ready to be released. While speaking that night, Big Wiz even made it known that the video for the song had been shot.
Titled "Balon d'Or", a reference to the coveted prize given to the best player in the world, the Afro-fusion tune will serve as their last output for the year as they both wrap it up in style.
