Asake Reacts To The Death Of A Fan At His 02 Academy Concert
Asake has reacted to the news of the death of a fan at his 02 Brixton Academy concert, which was held on the 15th of December 2022.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), in a report, shared today, Saturday, December 17, 2022, confirmed the death of a woman Rebecca Ikumelo, in the early hours of today after sustaining injuries at the 02 Brixton Academy crush, which took place at the Asake's 'Mr. Money With The Vibe' concert, which was held at the venue.
The Mayor of London, Mayor Sadiq Khan, revealed he was heartbroken by the news and he also added that it is
vital that the investigation into what happened concludes as soon as possible"
The singer himself, Asake, has responded to the news of the death of a fan of his in an official statement he shared on his social media platform today as well.
The singer described how devasted he was about the news and urged people who had also been present and had valuable information that could help with the investigation to speak up and help in anyway they possibly can.
It was also reported that two people are currently in critical condition as investigations are still ongoing to determine what had happened and why it happened.
