Organizers Of The Headies Awards 2022 Announce 3 New Categories
In an official announcement by the organizers of the Headies Awards 2022, it has been confirmed that three new categories have been added to the nomination list ahead of the event.
As music lovers gear up worldwide for the 15th edition of one of the most prestigious award shows which is called the Headies Awards 2022, the organisers of the event have confirmed the addition of three new categories to the list of awards to be presented at the event.
The three new categores include International Artiste Of The Year, Best Inspirational Single and Digital Artiste Of The Year.
The organizers of the Headies revealed that the reason these categories were included was to promote inclusivity.
The announcement read:
In the spirit of inclusivity, The Headies Awards adds three (3) new nomination categories to its forthcoming 15th edition.
This latest amendment is birthed from critical discussions with key music and creative industry stakeholders to include certain sectors of the Entertainment industry in order to ensure an holistic and well-rounded celebration of deserving music industry talents.
