Why I don’t regret leaving Nigeria for America – Rapper Eldee the Don
Veteran Nigerian Rapper, Eldee has revealed that he does not regret leaving Nigeria in search of greener pastures abroad.
According to Eldee, he could not have accomplished all he has achieved if he had remained in Nigeria.
He made this known in an interaction with a fan who quizzed him about the decision to leave.
The fan with the handle @shawn_boy12 wrote;
Nothing dey Yankee. Na depression. It is a trillion times more easier to make it in Nigerian than America. America is overrated.
It is all about perspective. Everybody’s journey is different. The real question is what your definition of “make it” is.
I don’t for a second regret my JAPA. My life today is exactly as i envisioned it in 2012 when I decided I was finally done with my Naija Journey.
We all have different goals and priorities in Life. I chose being rich over looking rich. The only way I could have accomplished what In have today in Naija is if I stole the money…. and I no sabi thief.
